This Victorian terrace, built in 1906, was upgraded and restored by O-RU using only natural materials. The acheived aesthetic is minimal and calming, connecting the rear yard and the internal spaces. Good light quality is acheived through well-placed trees. By opening up walls, the otherwise small spaces of this family home are made to feel large and luxurious.
Natural paints, plasters, insulations and fabrics were used throughout the refurbishment to allow the building to breathe helping make the internal environment healthy and calming.
